Potato lives in Poland, in Europe. Hamsters are naturally active around dusk and at night. His usual evening exploring, digging and wheel time falls in the afternoon for much of the US and in the evening for the UK.
Once Potato Cam launches, you can watch his natural routine without staying up all night. We always let him wake in his own time. More about hamster behaviour at the RSPCA.

Be kind. To Potato, to his humans, to everyone in the chat.
No waking Potato. If he is asleep, we wait. Asking us to wake him will not work.
No tapping, no tricks. We never tap the glass or make him do things.
Vote and name things. In the evening LIVE you can help pick tomorrow's tunnel or name a new toy.
Kids: ask a grown-up first. Enjoy the videos together. A grown-up being present does not change a platform's minimum account or chat age.
What you will see: Potato, hands, and sometimes voices. Never a child on camera.
